■ Following your operation you will recover in PACU (Post Anaesthetic Care Unit) where the highly qualified and very caring PACU
team will care for you. When you are fully awake and comfortable you
will change back into your own clothes and relax in the second stage lounge prior to
your departure.
■ When you are ready to leave, a member of staff will contact your
designated person to take you home.
■ If you are staying overnight, you will recover in PACU and once the PACU team are satisfied with your progress you will be transferred to
your room in the ward.
