There are normally three separate charges for your procedure:
1. The Quay Park Surgical Centre Fee (hospital fees)
2. The Surgeon’s Fee
3. The Anaesthetist’s Fee
Please note that the Surgeon and Anaesthetist's costs are not included in
the Quay Park Surgical Centre estimates.
Estimation of charges for operation and hospital stay:
It is recommended that all patients telephone Quay Park Surgical Centre
directly, prior to admission, to obtain an estimation of charges for your
operation and treatment required. Such estimates are GST inclusive.
It is important that you understand the charges provided are an
estimate only and may vary according to the time spent in theatre and PACU, the
number of nights you are staying and any additional items used in the
delivery of your care while at Quay Park Surgical Centre. These
charges include:
■ Operating Theatre Fee
■ Medical Consumables
■ Recovery Fee
■ Hospital Accommodation Fee
Payment Options:
Quay Park Surgical Centre accepts Cash, Eftpos, Cheques and Major
Credit Cards (excluding Diners & American Express). We suggest that you
phone your bank to ensure that you have the funds available to settle your
account, as for most people there is a daily withdrawal limit.
